Zeke Mesa, a lifelong resident of Kingman Arizona passed away at home surrounded by loved ones on February 2, 2024 at the age of 79 Zeke was born August 27, 1944 in Kingman.  He graduated from Mohave County Union High School in 1963.  He attended college in Yuma, Arizona before returning to Kingman to work at Alex Toggery, Duval Mine, the Elks Lodge and finally for the school district. KINGMAN – Catholic Charities of Arizona has told inquiring city officials that the Route 66 Motel it purchased in Kingman is not for sale. And the organization has indicated it will continue its campaign to renovate the dilapidated property for a transitional housing project operation.
