KINGMAN – A Kingman man already serving prison time for sex offense convictions has pleaded guilty in a second case. James Lummel, 63, was handed an eight-year prison term at a March 26 hearing after he was convicted of two counts of sexual exploitation of a minor at trial.
KINGMAN – When the Honorable Judge Lee Jantzen entered his Mohave County Superior Courtroom to take the bench a final time late in the afternoon on April 30, he humbly greeted more than three dozen people who showed up to witness his transition to retirement.
A Kingman man spent a good 20 minutes trying to convince a local judge he should be placed on probation before his prison sentence was ordered.
KINGMAN – Transporting illegal drugs into Mohave County will send a Tacoma, Wash., resident to the Arizona Department of Corrections. Fredy Robles-Rodriguez, 31, was sentenced to two years in prison after he entered a plea agreement on April 29 at the Law and Justice Center in Kingman.
BULLHEAD CITY – A local resident was killed in a two-vehicle collision in Bullhead City on Wednesday, April 29. Police department public information officer Emily Fromelt said emergency crews responded at 10 a.m. to the incident at the Bullhead Parkway and Locust Boulevard.
