Special Olympics AZ to host 2nd Annual Taste of Kingman with Torch Run

KINGMAN – Special Olympics Arizona (SOA) will be hosting its second annual fundraiser in downtown Kingman. The Taste of Kingman will feature local restaurants and breweries, as well as the SOA-affiliated Law Enforcement Torch Run.

The Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) originally began in Wichita, Kansas, in 1981 and is now a nationally-celebrated fundraising event for the Special Olympics.

The LETR, along with other notable events like the Plane Pull, Polar Plunge, and Tip-A-Cop, have collectively raised over $1 billion since LETR began.

The Torch Run will begin at 8 a.m. on Friday, April 4.

Taste of Kingman will be held on Friday, April 4, at the downtown arch on Beale Street. Early Bird tickets are $25, and they are $30 on the night of the event. Kids ages 5-12 are $20.
