Soroptimist International of Kingman accepting applications for DK Rose Award

KINGMAN – Offering an opportunity for women in the community to access education and break down barriers to success, Soroptimist International of Kingman is currently accepting applications for the DK Rose Award until March 13.

Soroptimist International of Kingman invites applicants pursuing vocational training or degree courses to advance their careers, improve job prospects, or increase earning potential. 

The following are qualifications for consideration:

* Seeking educational advancement

* Proof of educational enrollment

* Kingman or Golden Valley resident

* Not a prior DK Rose Award recipient

* Not a Soroptimist member nor an immediate affiliation

* Any woman who is not the primary financial provider or head of household

* The application does not meet eligibility criteria for the Soroptimist “Live Your Dream” Award

* Award winner is required to provide proof of a social security number or tax ID number

The application is accessible on-line at sikingman.com. Applications can be completed and submitted on-line or downloaded, completed and mailed to: SI Kingman, PO Box 3393, Kingman AZ 86402. The application deadline is March 13.
