TOPOCK – On Thursday, July 9, six people were arrested during a search warrant was conducted by Mohave Area General Narcotics Enforcement (MAGNET) in the 5000 block of E. Mesa Dr. in Topock. The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office had received several complaints from citizens that the property was being used as a “flop house” with possible drug activity.
Seven total subjects were removed from the residence at the beginning of the search warrant for questioning. During the search, 0.31 grams of methamphetamine, 0.49 grams of marijuana, 4 glass pipes, a scale and, and other various items of drug paraphernalia were located in various areas of the residence.
Numerous code enforcement and building code violations were observed during the search of the residence resulting in the electricity being shut off when it was determined that it was an unsafe residence.
Jeremiah Robert Anderson, 37 of Needles, CA, was arrested for felony Drug Paraphernalia Possession and an active arrest warrant. Marlaina Marie Calabrese, 40 of Topock, was arrested for felony Drug Paraphernalia Possession and an active arrest warrant. Anthony David Crawford, 56 of Topock, was arrested for felony Drug Paraphernalia Possession. Lance Wayne Davis, 37 of Boulder City, NV, was arrested for felony Drug Paraphernalia Possession. Robert Charles Parks, 68 of Topock, was arrested for felony Drug Paraphernalia Possession. Alexis Paige Smith, 24 of Topock, was arrested for Dangerous Drug Possession and Drug Paraphernalia Possession, both felonies. The seventh subject removed from the home was released with no charges.
