Shots fired upon semi driver, no inuries

KINGMAN – A Kingman man has been arrested for firing upon a semi-truck and its driver. Personnel from the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) and Arizona Department of Public Safety responded to the incident at about 7:17 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 29.

It had been reported that a subject had been shooting a weapon from a motorhome in the parking lot of a business in the 6000 block of E. Minerva Ln., east of Kingman.

“Deputies and state troopers surrounded the motorhome and began ordering the occupants out,” said MCSO spokeswoman Anita Mortensen. “A short time later a male subject later identified as Keith Terrence Lamb exited the motorhome and complied with officer’s directions.”

Lamb, 58, was arrested without incident for misconduct involving weapons and criminal damage. Officers reportedly seized a bb-gun rifle and a 9mm pistol from the motorhome.

The truck driver told investigators that he saw Lamb fire at his truck through one of the motorhome’s windows. A projectile cracked his windshield, but the truck driver was not hurt.

“Lamb admitted to shooting the windshield, stating that the truck was invading his territory and he was defending himself,” Mortensen said. “Lamb also admitted to a similar incident that had been reported at the same location two days prior.”
