KINGMAN – The Kingman Office of Tourism and Economic Development is calling on photographers worldwide to participate in the 2024 Kingman Billboard Leap-year Photo Contest throughout February. The contest seeks images that showcase Kingman’s key attractions: Route 66, History, and Outdoor Recreation.

The City of Kingman will award three grant prize winners, one for each category, with the opportunity to have their winning photos displayed prominently on 48’ wide billboards along Interstate 40 and Highway 93 (Future Interstate 11). Each billboard is 48’ wide, so the images need to be large and high quality enough to fit the space. Winners in this category are eligible for a $500 prize.

The objective is to gather authentic, unaltered photographs taken by both locals and travelers in their organic Kingman experiences. This contest not only aims to feature winning images but also provides additional financial incentives for finalists. The Kingman Office of Tourism and Economic Development seeks to expand its photo library with high-quality images reflecting diverse perspectives and styles, contributing to Kingman’s visual narrative.

Join in, and capture Kingman’s essence! For contest rules, details, and to participate, visit www.choosekingman.com/photocontest.
