Five engine companies respond to house fire in Havasu

LAKE HAVASU CITY — No one was hurt in an April 15 residential structure fire in Lake Havasu City. Fire Department personnel responded at 11:45 a.m. to the incident in the 600 block of Yosemite Drive.

“The first arriving fire company observed smoke coming from the rear of the residence,” a city issued news release said. “Five engine companies, one medic unit, and a Battalion Chief responded to the scene and gained control of the fire within 20 minutes.”

Occupants reportedly safely exited the burning home. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
