LAKE HAVASU CITY – If you’re someone who is all geared up for some early Spring cleaning, you’re in luck. The Lake Havasu High School Band Boosters Annual Rummage Sale is still accepting donations, and it’s for a good cause!
Fundraising for the band happens throughout the year, and this would be the start of it.
The high school’s band rummage sale is now accepting gently used items that are functioning such as electronics, furniture, clothes, and much more. Donated items can be brought to the high school’s band room where they will be kept in the band’s trailer located outdoors.
Pickups are allowed as well and it is suggested to make arrangements for this prior to the big sale day by contacting the band’s secretary. As far as the unsold items, they will still remain donations as well and will be given to local charities like Hospice of Havasu Resale Store and Veterans Thrift Store.
Non-working items will not be eligible for donations. This will be one of the high school’s largest fundraisers of the year.
The annual rummage sale will be taking place on Saturday, February 10, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. This will be a one-day event located at the parking lot of Lake Havasu High School.
This year, the school wishes to raise $10,000 to $15,000 intended for the needs of the band such as traveling expenses, uniforms, and instrument repairs. Whether you are someone who loves to rummage or needs to get rid of goods, you will not want to miss this sale.
Need to make a donation? The rummage sale will now be accepting items from now until February 8. You can make arrangements for drop offs and pickups by contacting band’s secretary Sarah Mariani at 928-412-0033.
