Hello Ms. J.M. I couldn’t help but respond to your rage against former President Trump. No one knows how a person would react to being shot at until it happens. Scary as it was our former President was able to compose himself and let the people know to continue the fight for their beliefs and country which are being censored and ignored each and every day.
Strange how after January 20, 2021 the persecution of our former President intensified beyond the false rhetoric of 2016. Be Nice? A person as well as a country has a right to defend themselves against political persecution.
Never have members of a political Party been able to cause as much disruption as the current Democratic Party has against Republican candidates for office especially our former President! By the way, the Democrats fought tooth and nail to stop funding for the southern border wall.
We were lucky to get 50 miles of wall built. As far as Mexico paying for the wall, our former President never had a chance to finish the wall after questionable election results. You can call former President Trump a “Draft Dodger” or if you remember the Draft ended around March of 1973 thanks to the Paris Peace Accord and the number of Men being Drafted was slowed as we gradually withdrew troops from Vietnam to let The South Vietnamese defend themselves.
If you are getting your information from ABC, CNN, NBC, CBS, or MSNBC than you are getting propaganda from the Chinese Communist Party. I had friends a year or two older who were drafted and fortunately returned home safe but not without the scars of war.
I was one of many that unlisted in the new all-voluntary military. Few know what they want to do, at age 18, for the rest of their lives. You didn’t mention how the more fortunate were able to avoid the Draft by being able to afford a four- year University full-time but yet protested, some violently, against the Vietnam War when they should have been in class!
Those of us blue-collar workers and poor citizens bared the brunt of the Draft Lottery because of President Lyndon Johnson’s, {D}, escalation of the war after President John Kennedy was assassinated. I have to say your take on what happened on January 6, 2021 couldn’t be more inaccurate.
Then President Trump offered National Guard troops to help with security during the electoral vote count but then Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, rejected the offer. Why? Didn’t know she was in charge of the Capitol Police? All about power, control, and subversion! President Trump never said in his speech to go cause violence at the Capitol. It was a set-up all along.
Answer me this: Why were citizens arrested and held without due process? Why wasn’t the Capitol Policeman arrested for the murder of Ashley Babbit, an unarmed Protester? To be honest, Ms. J.M., I don’t understand your disdain for working people and successful individuals and your “tax the rich feed the poor” philosophy.
As a Veteran myself I find your defense of Vietnam and Veterans of past wars confusing as the political Party you support called Vietnam Veterans “Baby Killers” when they came home. I believe our Vietnam and Veterans of present and past wars deserve far more than that from you!
