Peace demonstrations suspended due to weather

Dear Editor,

Typically there is a 4 to 4:30 p.m.  support Ukraine Peace Vigil at Locomotive Park here in Kingman on the first of each month. However, due to inclement weather conditions such as cold, wind and rain, the heat dome this past summer, and health challenges and this scheduled peace vigil  has been disrupted since last summer.

Rain, cold temps and wind are in the forecast for Feb. as well.

Further, not only are these peace vigils for Ukraine …. but also sadly military actions have recently erupted globally.  Peace activists  will stand in solidarity for each affected area.

When the weather and health conditions permit the vigils will resume on the first of each month at 4 to 4:30 p.m. at Locomotive Park.  Notice will be submitted to the paper so stay tuned.
