The Parade is named in honor of Paul Walsh who was a Korean War Veteran and member of the local 1st Marine division Association. Wlash organized the first of the Bullhead City Veterans Parades which were originally named the Tri-State Veterans Day Parade, it was renamed after Walsh’s passing in 2020 to reflect his commitment to the city and its many veterans.
