MARY HELEN PLATTER (CHAMBERLAIN)
Mary Helen Platter (Chamberlain) was born April 3, 1945 to Howard and Helen Chamberlain. She passed away unexpectedly May 30, 2019 at her home in Costa Mesa, California, just nine days after her brother Alan. She was also preceded in death by her parents Howard and Helen Chamberlain and nephew Mark Chamberlain Jr. Mary was an excellent artist from a very young age and continued it as a hobby until eye surgery left her unable. She spent years working as an insurance claim adjuster, then working for a realtor, and spent her final years working for her dear friends Glen and Theresa at their auto shop. Mary is survived by
GEORGIA JANE ANDERSON
Georgia Jane Anderson, of Kingman, died Monday, May 20, 2019. She was 84. Mrs. Anderson was born Aug. 1, 1934 in Ashtabula, Ohio. The family contact is Kathy Jane Dagres. Arrangements were made by Sutton Memorial Funeral Home.
The changing seasons of life
Several weeks ago, we had the greatest snowfall that I have seen since moving to Kingman ten years ago. With as much as sixteen inches of snow recorded, the temperatures dropped accordingly. The fresh, brilliant white snow brought a cleanness that was undisturbed for a short amount of time. Its beauty was unparalleled. But as the weeks have passed, so has the winter weather, and the trees began to bud, and flowers to bloom. Alton Ray Chambers, of Chloride, died Tuesday, May 14, 2019. He was 87. Mr. Chambers was born Feb. 7, 1932 in Apache, Okla. The family contact is his son Alton Ray Chambers II. Arrangements were made by Sutton Memorial Funeral Home.

Lawrence Rayford (Larry) Howard, of Kingman, died Saturday, May 11, 2019. He was 73. Mr. Howard was born June 6, 1945 in Columbus, Ohio. The family contact is his sister Patricia Carol Mickelson. Arrangements were made by Sutton Memorial Funeral Home.
EDWARD ANDERSON DICKENS

Can the wind be a treasure?
I am quite sure that many of you have heard the story of how Kingman was started. It seems that a wagon train of the early settlers were cross through on their way to California when the Arizona winds began to blow harder than usual. The wagon master told the people it would be best if they stopped to rest until the wind stopped. They have been here ever since!
