KINGMAN – Kingman Elks Lodge #468 and Mohave Sportsman Club will be hosting two annual Fishing for Smiles events in May. The Youth Day Fishing for Smiles event for kids ages 5-15 will be held on Saturday, May 17th from 7 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. A Special Needs Community event will also be held on May 20. Both events will be held at the Dunton Ranch, located on Fort Rock Road, east of Kingman.
PEACH SPRINGS – Another train bandit incident is reported in northwest Arizona. The Hualapai Nation Police Department reports its officers initiated a traffic stop of a Chevy Tahoe suspected to be involved in train robberies in the Peach Springs area at 2:40 a.m. on March 27.
