Douglas (Doug) John Letcher was born October 9, 1945, in Jamestown, North Dakota to Francis Letcher and Emma Meidinger Letcher and passed away on June 4, 2025 in Las Vegas, Nevada, after an unexpected illness.  He grew up on a farm, the youngest of nine children and graduated from high school and joined the United States Air Force.  After basic training, Doug was stationed in Ankara, Turkey and Beirut, Lebanon, where he met and married his wife, Judy, and they were married 57 years at the time of his death.  He was assigned to Vietnam and the APO at the embassy in Beirut.  When his duty time in Beirut was
