BULLHEAD CITY – On Wednesday, May 13, at approximately 1:10 am, the Bullhead City Fire Department responded to the report of a structure fire on the 700 block of Morro Cove. The first arriving unit reported a single-wide mobile home on fire with heavy smoke showing. Engine 761 completed a quick survey around the structure confirming it was unoccupied and began a defensive fire attack. Battalion Chief Livermore arrived shortly after directing all other incoming units. Crews quickly knocked down the blaze, keeping it from spreading to an RV that was parked nearby.
There were no injuries reported during this incident. However, medics did transport one male subject that was found sleeping in the RV parked nearby for an unrelated medical issue.
Fire Investigators were called to the scene as crews completed the overhaul process, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation at this time. Information regarding recent suspicious activity in the area was passed along to the Bullhead City Police Department.
