New super Circle K nearing completion

KINGMAN, Ariz. – The new Circle K under construction on Hualapai Mountain Road, between Eastern and Washington, should be completed and ready to open by the first week in August. It will be the largest Circle K in Kingman with 5,200 square feet setting on 5.8 acres of land.

It will have gas pumps, and a convenient store but, Project Manager Bobby Orr of KC Orr Builders said it would not have a car wash.

“No. There will be no car wash,” Orr said.

He said it was because the owners decided they didn’t want it, but Circle K Store Manager Kevin Bush at Airway and Bank said it was because the city was giving them problems over the water.

The Standard reached out to City Manager Tim Walsh but he was unavailable to confirm that.

Whatever the reason, there will be no car wash at this new Circle K as planned.

Manager Kevin Bush said he will begin the hiring process for the new store next week. He said all positions would be full-time, but there may be one to three part-time slots available. Training, he said, would be at his store, 3019 Airway Blvd.
