Mohave College Corporate Education expands hospitality leadership program

MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave College Corporate Education is helping hospitality professionals strengthen their leadership skills with a new six-course Hospitality Leadership Development Program, beginning July 14 at the Lake Havasu Campus.

Designed for supervisors, managers and emerging leaders in the hospitality industry, the program focuses on practical leadership strategies that participants can immediately apply in the workplace. Each two-day course covers a different aspect of leadership, from building trust and accountability to developing high-performing teams and leading through change.

“Hospitality isn’t just an industry in Mohave County, it’s the front door to our community. These classes are designed to empower our local workforce with the essential service skills that turn a brief visit into a lifelong memory,” said Gina Kremper, Associate Dean, Corporate Education. “By investing in top-tier service training, we are not only elevating the guest experience but also driving sustainable economic growth across our region.”

Courses will be from 8:30 to 10 a.m., Tuesdays and Wednesdays at the Mohave College Lake Havasu Campus, 1977 Acoma Blvd. West, room 203C, July 14 through Aug. 19.

The six-course series includes:

* Foundations of Hospitality Leadership (July 14–15)

* Managing Performance & Accountability (July 21–22)

* Training Employees for Excellence (July 28–29)

* Communication & Conflict Resolution (Aug. 4–5)

* Building High-Performance Hospitality Teams (Aug. 11–12)

* Advanced Leadership & Operational Excellence (Aug. 18–19)
