Bullhead City traffic stop nets $8,000 in street drugs

BULLHEAD CITY – The Bullhead City Police Department reports a June 18 traffic stop evolved into a drug bust. Passenger Stephen Miller, 46, was arrested and jailed when nearly three ounces of fentanyl powder was seized after the vehicle was pulled over for a traffic violation in the area of Hwy. 95 and Fourth St.

“Detectives located approximately 82.3 grams of powdered fentanyl inside the vehicle, along with drug paraphernalia, about $2,000 in cash and other items commonly associated with the sale of illegal drugs,” said police spokeswoman Emily Fromelt. She said the street value of the drugs is estimated at approximately $8,000.

Miller, Golden Valley, was booked into the Adult Detention Facility for possession of narcotic drugs for sale and drug paraphernalia.
