Michael Milo Asper Jr.

Michael Milo Asper Jr, born on March 12, 1973, in Ontario, California, passed away on May 20, 2025, at the age of 52. At the time of his passing, he resided in Kingman, Arizona, a place where he found peace and comfort among friends and family.

Raised in Cedar Glen, Mike developed a profound love for the outdoors, particularly enjoying camping trips and swimming adventures. His passion for working on his truck was well-known, often spending hours perfecting every detail. Mike’s zest for life and his adventurous spirit were infectious, making him the life of every gathering. He was a caring, fun-loving individual who approached life with a go-getter attitude, always ready to embrace the next challenge with a smile. His loving and down-to-earth nature endeared him to many, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew him.

Mike is survived by a devoted family who cherished him deeply. He leaves behind his brother Jerry Asper (Julie), brother Jimmy Carroll (Susan) and sisters Veronica Asper and Christina Karney, his  Aunts Kathy  Carol, Nancy and Shari and Uncle Earl. His beloved partner, Virginia Smith, stood by his side through life’s journey, sharing in countless memories and moments. He is also survived by his children Zack and Michael(Hallie) Bonus children  Amber, Nancy, Ashley, and AJ, 13 grandchildren Kamryn, Jaxson, Aaron, Amelia, Addison, Alma, Daya, Alexis, Chander, Madelyn, Braydon and  Atleigh . He was a loving uncle to Nichole and Makayla. 

Preceding Mike in death were his parents, Charlene Asper and Michael Milo Asper Sr., who undoubtedly welcomed him with open arms.

A celebration of Mike’s life will take place at his residence in Kingman, Arizona. Friends and family will gather to honor his memory, sharing stories and laughter as they remember the vibrant spirit he was.

In closing, Mike often quoted Tim McGraw’s words, “Live like you were dying,” a sentiment that perfectly encapsulates his approach to life. May we all find inspiration in his example and carry forward his love for life and adventure.
