Students are learning about what to expect in their Human Anatomy and Physiology class with Dr. Cesar Fuentes on the Kingman Campus.
MOHAVE COUNTY – Students are back on campus! Mohave Community College started its fall semester Monday, Aug. 19 on all campuses with students returning to finish their degrees or certificates. The College is also welcoming new students who have decided to start their educational journey as an MCC Bighorn.
Enrollment is up by roughly 16% with over 4,500 students taking classes across all campuses and online. Students continue to sign up for shorter-term classes that begin in September and October.
The College is currently enrolling students for the fall semester 12-week classes which start Sept. 16 and 8-week classes which start Oct. 14. New and returning students are encouraged to get started by visiting Mohave.edu/Admission.
Student leaders are excited to return to campus to make a difference for current and future students. Gage Tedford is a student on the Kingman Campus, and Student Activities Council Vice President. At MCC, he’s pursuing his associate degree in Life Science.
“I chose to become a student at MCC because it allows me to discover my path in life and become successful along the journey, while also saving me money and time,” Tedford said.
As a student leader, he’s excited to work with his peers to propose new ideas like adding more outside areas that everyone can enjoy.

The College has many degree and certificate options to help students meet their education and career goals. People are able to browse the Academic, Healthcare and Career & Technical Education programs online at www.Mohave.edu/Degrees.
MCC also offers many Corporate and Community Education non-credit classes. The courses range from teaching fun skills for hobbyists to professional skills needed in the local workforce. These classes are not graded and are offered on the Kingman, Bullhead City and Lake Havasu City campuses. To see a list of those classes, visit ce.mohave.edu.
