Manseau trial begins

KINGMAN – Attorneys presented opening statements Monday in the week long trial of a Kingman facing charges in a case involving delayed reporting of sex offense allegations.

Deputy Mohave County attorney Amanda Claerhout told the Mohave County Superior Court jury that children frequently come forward long after they’ve been sexually abused. She said the victim who is now 13-years-old was 4- to 10-years-old when Bradley Manseau, 34, involved her in various sex acts between 2015 and 2021.

Manseau is charged with three counts of sexual conduct with a minor and one count of attempted sexual conduct with a minor.

Public defender Paul Amann said Manseau maintains his innocence and should be acquitted for the state’s inability to prove his guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
