M.I.K.I.D. To Open Bullhead City’s Holiday Boombox Parade

BULLHEAD CITY — Bullhead City is set to dazzle with lights and holiday cheer during its 27th annual Boombox Parade on Thursday, Dec. 5, from 6–7 p.m. The parade will kick off in the parking lot of M.I.K.I.D., Arizona’s largest family-run behavioral health nonprofit, located at 810 Gemstone Ave., Bullhead City, AZ 86442.

M.I.K.I.D. will also have a float in the lineup. Inspired by the beloved “Misfit Toys” from Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, this theme celebrates the beauty of being different and the joy of embracing what makes each of us unique. These are cornerstone values that reflect M.I.K.I.D.’s mission to empower children and families through counseling, education, and community support.

Hosted by the Colorado River Women’s Council (CRWC) in partnership with the City of Bullhead City, the parade unites the community for an evening of festive floats, music, and the spirit of giving.

Interviews are available with M.I.K.I.D. team members to share the story behind the Misfit Toys float and how celebrating individuality helps build stronger, more resilient communities.
