KINGMAN – On February 8, the Kingman Municipal Veterans Treatment Court was recognized and honored during Military Appreciation Knight by the Henderson Silver Knights hockey team. This special event paid tribute to the dedication and resilience of veterans in the Kingman community, particularly those participating in the Veterans Treatment Court program.
A group of 40 supporters from the Kingman Veteran’s Court attended the game, enjoying an evening of camaraderie and recognition. Following the game, attendees had the unique opportunity to step onto the ice, creating an unforgettable experience for the veterans involved.

“We are very grateful to the Silver Knights for recognizing our Veteran Court in Kingman,” said Judge Jeffrey Singer, who presides over the program. “This was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that I believe will be cherished forever by our veterans who attended with us.”
The Kingman Veterans Treatment Court provides an alternative justice pathway for veterans struggling with challenges such as PTSD, substance use, and mental health issues, helping them reintegrate into society through structured support and rehabilitation. The City of Kingman appreciates the continued recognition and support for this program, which plays a crucial role in assisting local veterans.
