Temporary road closure required at Smoketree Ave for water main improvements

LAKE HAVASU CITY – Lake Havasu City Public Works Department announces an upcoming road closure at Smoketree Avenue to facilitate necessary milling and paving activities for recent water infrastructure improvements.

The closure is scheduled at Smoketree Avenue and Poplar Avenue and Smoketree Avenue and Ash Avenue on Wednesday, February 19, starting at 7:00 a.m. and ending at 1:00 p.m. A detour is in place, and traffic is rerouted via Saguaro Drive, Columbine Drive, and then to Cliffrose Drive.

Drivers are encouraged to plan accordingly and use the designated detour to minimize travel disruptions. We thank residents and commuters for their patience and understanding as these essential upgrades are carried out to improve the city’s infrastructure.
