Kingman now accepting applications for EDAC vacancy

City council

KINGMAN — The City of Kingman is accepting applications to fill a vacancy on the Economic Development Advisory Commission (EDAC). This appointment will serve a partial term through December 31, 2028, and applications are due by January 5, 2026. The Kingman City Council will appoint an applicant at its January 20, 2026 meeting.

The EDAC Commission provides strategic advice and guidance on the creation, implementation, and updates of the City’s Economic Development Master Plan. Members review progress toward the plan’s goals and act as a communication bridge between local businesses, the community, and the public sector. The Commission also advises the City Council on policies and programs that support existing businesses, attract new enterprises, and promote sustainable economic growth. In addition, members help strengthen Kingman’s economic identity by supporting marketing strategies and informational resources that highlight Kingman as a destination for investment and development.

The Commission meets bi-monthly on the fourth Tuesday of February, April, June, August, October, and December at 12 p.m. Appointed members are expected to attend meetings and actively participate in discussions and decision-making.

This opportunity is ideal for residents who are passionate about Kingman’s growth, business development, and community vitality, and who want to make a meaningful impact on the city’s economic future.

Applications may be submitted online at https://serve.cityofkingman.gov or by contacting the City Clerk’s Office at (928) 753-8102.
