Dear Editor,
We celebrated “National Responsible Pet Owner Day” at our market on September 21. It was so much fun! We had 12 vendors, 429 human guests and many canine guests including six who came from Mohave County Animal Shelter looking for “Furever ” homes. In addition to the fun with furry friends Pegge Moore demonstrated how to make unique vases from canning jars, acrylic paints, burlap and a few flowers. They look great and are very economical gifts for the upcoming holidays, wedding or just for that special person. More fun when The Dale Gillespie Blues Project created mellow vibes for the visitors and Vendors alike.
September 29 is “National Be a Good Neighbor Day” and the “Andy Devine Days” parade will line-up in the streets along our market venue. So, come on down about eight and buy some home-baked treats, jams, jellies, honey, sauce or soup mixes, bath and beauty soaps and balms, hand-made knives, jewelry, crafts, melons, tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, dried herbs, pumpkins, vases, aprons, potholders dolls from your friendly local Vendors at Kingman Farmers Market. We will be at the Thunder Rode Event Center, First and Beale from 8 a.m. until noon enjoying “The Dale Gillespie Blues Project”, wonderful weather and a terrific chance to get to know our wonderful neighbors at the parade.
If you would like information about booth space and requirements call Dan at 928-530-6544. Remember only the highest quality, home-made, hand-crafted, home-baked and locally grown products are found at Kingman Farmers Market.
