BULLHEAD CITY, AZ – Due to high winds, there have been multiple outages in the last two days for Mohave Electric Cooperative (MEC) members.

On Tuesday, January 7, for approximately 10 minutes, 1,686 members were affected near Silver Creek in Bullhead City. Crews repaired a primary line when two primary phases made contact. In the evening for fewer than 2 hours, 23 members in Fort Mohave and 18 members in Mohave Valley experienced tree-branch related outages. 17 commercial members in Kingman near Hayden Peak experienced on-and-off outages for 12 hours due to extreme wind.
