Expect nighttime lane restrictions, brief delays on US 93 in Mohave County June 18 through July 10 for pavement repairs

MOHAVE COUNTY – The Arizona Department of Transportation advises area drivers to plan for overnight  lane restrictions and travel delays during the next several weeks for pavement repairs on three segments of US 93 in Mohave County.

US 93 will be intermittently narrowed to one lane in each direction with alternating north- and southbound travel. Motorists should allow extra travel time while the following restrictions are in place from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.:

Tuesday, June 18, through Monday, June 24:

  • A 2-mile segment north of Wikieup between Cane Springs Bridge and Lower Trout Creek Road (mileposts 108 to 110).

Tuesday, June 25, through Tuesday, July 2:

  • A 6-mile segment near Chloride roughly between Sanctuary Road and West Chloride Road (mileposts 48 to 54).

Wednesday, July 3; Sunday, July 7, through Wednesday, July 10:

  • A 2-mile segment between the State Route 68 junction and Coyote Pass (mileposts 67 to 69).
  • There will be no work July 4-6 in recognition of Independence Day weekend.

The restrictions are needed so crews can make pavement repairs to the roadway.
