Downtown Kingman street closures for the Route 66 Fun Run

The City of Kingman is notifying residents and motorists of temporary street closures on Saturday, May 2, in support of the annual Fun Run and Car Show.

Closures will be in effect from 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the downtown area. Beale Street will be closed between Grandview Avenue and 5th Street. Andy Devine Avenue will also be closed from Canada Mart, located just west of 1st Street, to 6th Street.  Additional closures will include 1st through 4th Streets, as well as the south lane of 5th Street, from the alley north of Beale Street to the railroad tracks south of Andy Devine Avenue.

The Fun Run and Car Show will take place from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Spectators are encouraged to attend and may park throughout the downtown area outside of the designated car show enclosure.

Motorists should plan for delays, use alternate routes, and follow all posted signage and traffic control measures in the area.
