MOHAVE COUNTY – County Recorder, Lydia Durst and her team are preparing for the 2024 General Election on Tuesday, November 5. Here is some of the vital information needed.
All registered voters are eligible to vote in the 2024 General Election. However, to be eligible, individuals must register by Monday, October 7. To register in person, please visit the Mohave County Recorder’s Office located at 700 W. Beale St. in Kingman Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm. Registration to vote can also take place online at www.azmvdnow.gov.
Election mail cannot be forwarded. If there are changes to a residential or mailing address, contact the recorder’s office at 928-753-0767 or visit www.azmvdnow.gov by October 7 to update registration.
Ballots will be mailed to voters who have requested an early ballot on October 9. Mail ballots can be returned by placing a signed affidavit in the mail or depositing it in a ballot box at the Mohave County Administration Building, 700 W. Beale St, Kingman or at an early voting site during hours of operation.
Voting can be done early in person beginning Wednesday, October 9, at the three county library locations until Friday November 1. The early voting sites will be open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. On the last day of early voting, November 1, the voting sites will be open until 7 p.m. The libraries are at 1770 McCulloch Blvd N, Lake Havasu City; 1170 Hancock Rd, Bullhead City; and 3269 N Burbank St, Kingman.
The last day to request a ballot by mail is Friday, October 25. Visit my.arizona.vote to request a one-time ballot by mail or call 928-753-0767. Anyone voting in person will need to show proper identification. Visit https://www.mohave.gov/departments/recorder/voter-registration/ for voting locations and ID requirements.
