LAKE HAVASU CITY – Authorities have identified the victims of a deadly two-vehicle Jan. 2 collision in Lake Havasu City. They were both dead at the scene when the Dodge truck they were traveling in crossed over highway 95 and struck an oncoming semi-tractor trailer rig on Highway 95 near the Dub Campbell parkway at about 2:29 p.m.

Lake Havasu City police identified the deceased driver of the Dodge as Zachary Phelps, 27, Ehrenberg and the passenger as Alberto Arias, 33, Blythe, California.

“The semi-truck driver sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital for evaluation,” said police sergeant Kyle Ridgway. “The cause of the crash, along with any contributing factors, remains under investigation.” Dave Hawkins
