CRUHSD seeks grant funding

BULLHEAD CITY –The Colorado River Union High School District is applying for a competitive Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Center grant, administered by the Arizona Department of Education.   CRUHSD’s application is for Mohave High School.

If awarded the grant, MHS would use the funding to continue after-school and “Flex Friday” programs that offer intervention and enrichment activities to all students.  There would also be classes for parents.  Those programs, available to all parents, would be finalized depending upon the grant awards.

Additional information about the grant application process and the programs is available at the school district office, 928-758-3916, x-1418.  Darolene Brown, CRUHSD’s curriculum director, is the contact for questions about the grant application and program.
