COVID-19 update: 30 new cases, eight deaths

MOHAVE COUNTY – The Mohave County Health Department (MCDPH) Nursing staff was notified this afternoon of 30 new confirmed COVID-19 cases.

There are also 8 deaths from previously reported cases.

Five of the deaths are in the Lake Havasu City service area. Two of those are 70-79; two are 80-89; one is 90+. The remaining three deaths are in the Kingman service area. One is 30-39; one is 80-89; one is 90+. All are previously reported cases.

Of the 30 new cases, 19 are in the Bullhead City service area. Sixteen of them remain under investigation. Two are 0-10; one is 11-19; five are 20-29; two are 30-39; one is 40-49; four are 50-59; one is 60-69.  The three remaining Bullhead City area cases are recovering at home and are linked to another case. One is 80-89; two are 90+.

There are 9 new confirmed cases in the Lake Havasu City service area. All of them remain under investigation. One is 0-10; one is 20-29; two are 60-69; five are 70-79.

There is one case in the Kingman service area, a 30-39 person and the case remains under investigation.

The final case is a 50-59 individual in the North County service area. That case also remains under investigation.

There are now1,512 positive cases in Bullhead City, including 70 deaths.

There are now 1,021 positive confirmed cases in the Lake Havasu City area, including 40 deaths.

There are 628 positive confirmed cases in Kingman, including 58 deaths.

There are 71 cases in “North County,” formerly referred to as “Other” (composed of a number of smaller Mohave County communities,) There are 0 deaths there.

There are a total of 168 deaths in the county from the disease.

Total positive cases, 3,245.
