BULLHEAD CITY — Residents in need of support and a path toward stability will have a unique opportunity this spring as the Mohave County Homeless Continuum of Care hosts the Fresh Start Resource Event on May 7, 2026, at Rotary Park.
Scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., the event will take place at 2315 Balboa Drive and is designed to connect individuals and families with a wide range of essential services, all in one location.
The Fresh Start Resource Event brings together a strong network of community partners focused on addressing homelessness, unemployment, health challenges, and other barriers to self-sufficiency. Attendees will have direct access to services including housing assistance, employment support, behavioral health resources, public benefits, and basic needs such as hygiene and wellness services.
Participating organizations include Arizona Complete Health, Arizona Youth Partnership (AZYP), Southwest Behavioral & Health Services, Community Medical Services, Catholic Charities, Arizona Department of Economic Security, Arizona@Work, Mohave County Department of Public Health, WestCare, Child & Family Resources, and several others. Each organization will be onsite to provide information, referrals, and in many cases, immediate assistance.
Organizers emphasize that the goal of the event is not just to provide temporary relief, but to create meaningful connections that lead to long-term stability.
“This event is about meeting people where they are and helping them take that next step forward,” organizers shared. “Whether someone needs a job, housing support, or help navigating services, this is a place where those doors can open.”
The event also serves as a collaborative effort among agencies to streamline access to care and reduce the gaps individuals often face when trying to navigate multiple systems on their own.
Community members are encouraged to attend, especially those experiencing housing instability, unemployment, or other life challenges. Service providers will be available to guide attendees through available programs and help build actionable plans for moving forward.
