KRMC CEO commits to continuing patient visitation

KINGMAN – Kingman Regional Medical Center (KRMC) CEO, Will McConnell, has expressed a commitment to continue allowing visitation for hospitalized patients – despite the surge of COVID-19 cases in our community. During the COVID lockdown last spring, KRMC closed to all visitors. In August, the hospital resumed a limited visitation policy with specific safety protocols. Now, KRMC will continue visitation amid an increase in cases. “We recognize that the support of loved ones is a critical part of healthcare and healing. Heroin dealer takes plea agreement

LAKE HAVASU CITY – A Peoria woman who allegedly sold large quantities of heroin and counterfeit pills throughout Lake Havasu City will go to the Arizona Department of Corrections under terms of a plea agreement entered Tuesday. Summer Parkerson, 34, faces a 3–5-year prison term in the deal convicting her of possession of narcotic drugs for sale. An identical count and other drug related charges are dismissed in the agreement. Judge Doug Camacho scheduled a Jan. 28 sentencing hearing. Garibaldi graciousness helps those in need

KINGMAN – Luigi Garibaldi has been at it for years. Head chef and owner of Garibaldi’s restaurant on Andy Devine Avenue was joined by his small staff to cook and serve Christmas Eve meals to the homeless and needy Thursday. Ex-con going back to prison on drug charges

KINGMAN – An ex-con residing in Golden Valley is being sent back to the Arizona Department of Corrections for his admitted involvement in sale of methamphetamine. Mohave County Judge Billy Sipe ordered a 15-year prison term Tuesday for John Holcomb, 57. Holcomb is one of roughly two dozen defendants indicted for their alleged involvement in two Kingman-based Drug Trafficking Organizations (DTO’s) that were the focus of the multi-agency Operation King Crimson investigation. Judge Sipe called Holcomb’s a very serious conspiracy case connected to a large-scale methamphetamine distribution ring.
