NEEDLES, Calif. – Two toddlers perished in a house fire in Needles and their father has been arrested. The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s office said personnel responded at 10:04 p.m. Thursday to a home engulfed in flames in the 500 block of Bazoobuth St. “Once the fire was extinguished, fire personnel entered the structure and found two deceased children inside,” a news release stated. The names of the one- and three-year-old girls were not released. Facility outbreak at senior living home

KINGMAN – A COVID-19 outbreak has been confirmed at the White Cliff’s Senior Living facility in Kingman. Eight residents and five staff members at the care center on Western Avenue have tested positive for the coronavirus, according to Vicki Doyle, Public Relations Manager for the Watermark Retirement Communities which also operates the Joshua Springs facility in Bullhead City. Doyle said four other staff members have been isolated from the facility in Kingman, due to COVID-19 symptoms. Doyle said the company has been partnering with CVS to prepare to administer vaccines in dozens of other facilities it operates around the country….

Admitted heroin dealer faces prison

A woman who admitted selling drugs in Bullhead City faces possible prison time under terms of a plea agreement entered in Mohave County Superior Court. Dallis Fanning, 36, is eligible for probation but she could also get up to four years in prison. Fanning pleaded guilty to possession of narcotic drugs for sale during a Wednesday hearing in Kingman. Possession of dangerous drugs for sale and a drug paraphernalia charge are dismissed in the deal.
