One killed in fiery crash

BULLHEAD CITY – One person was fatally injured in a fiery, three-vehicle collision in Bullhead City. Police responded at 1:17 p.m. Friday, Oct. 6 to the intersection of Highway 95 and Retail Way. Sgt. Eddie Espinoza said a Nissan Rogue stopped at a red light was pushed ahead into the rear of a Honda Accord when it was struck from behind by a Hyundai Accent. “The Accent caught fire which spread to the Rogue, and as a result, both the Accent and the Rogue became engulfed by fire,” Espinoza said. “Passersby assisted in removing the adult female passenger from the…

KINGMAN – Nothing of substance occurred during a brief Tuesday hearing conducted in the adult prosecution of a Kingman teenager who is facing potential extensive prison time in a deadly high profile traffic accident. The pre-trial conference in the case against Brady Shuffler lasted less than six minutes. Shuffler, 16, is charged with two counts of second-degree murder for the deaths of Sherene “Siri” Walema, 15, and Tatum Meins, 17. Streetscaping continues

KINGMAN – The City of Kingman’s Beale Street Scape and Improvement Project has completed phase one of this multi stage project.  Construction now moves down Beale Street, to the next block, with construction activities expected on phase two continuing for the next few months. “We are pleased with the progression of the project. The last few items in Phase I will be completed while crews begin work on Phase II. Some of the challenges have been plan adjustments and long manufacturing times for materials, such as street lights.
