Lighthouse Club gives LHC community safety on the lake

LAKE HAVASU CITY – Many don’t associate lighthouses with the desert, but Lake Havasu has 28 of them, and the Lake Havasu Lighthouse Club plans to build more in the future. The Lighthouse is a nonprofit group committed to the conservation and progress of Lake Havasu. The lighthouses are replicas but are built with great materials and the club maintains the lighthouses on a regular basis.  The first lighthouse was built in 2000 and by 2005, the Mohave County Board of Supervisors allowed the club’s sponsorship and funding for a light house of their choice. BULLHEAD CITY – For the first time in recent memory, the Bullhead City School District will host a family resource event with a mini health fair.  The event is free and will be held in the Bullhead City Middle School gymnasium on Thursday, November 30, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  It is open to BCSD students and their extended families. Golden Shores VFW honors veterans separated by three generations

GOLDEN SHORES – On Saturday, November 11, hundreds joined the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #6306 to honor the thousands of active military and veterans and their families for all their sacrifices that affect each and every one of us while they protect our country.
