Fatal fire in Meadview

MEADVIEW – A fire fatality investigation is ongoing in Meadview. The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office said the incident occurred Friday, Jan. 19 at a property in the 26000 block of N. Sandy Point Dr. Agency spokeswoman Anita Mortensen said arriving deputies were advised a female subject was still inside the structure being used as a domicile that was destroyed by fire. Students at Utah Tech University demonstrated remarkable academic performance during the Fall 2023 semester, with nearly 12 percent earning Dean’s List recognition.
