Expect delays at Parker Dam

PARKER – The Bureau of Reclamation reports that repair activity on Parker Dam Road could cause brief traffic for almost two months. During construction, traffic may be limited to one-lane and drivers may experience intermittent delays from 6 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. Mountain Standard Time (MST).  Local police, fire, and emergency medical services will have priority passage throughout the rehabilitation project area during construction activity. BLM offering reward for burro attack

NEEDLES, Calif. – The Bureau of Land Management is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to justice for the ongoing investigation of the shooting and killing of 19 wild burros. The animals were found along Interstate 15 between Baker, California and Primm, Nevada on August 13, 2019. BULLHEAD CITY – An assault on the Fox Creek Junior High School campus may lead to criminal charges against at least one student, and disciplinary action against a number of others, school officials announced Thursday.  Initial reports indicate that one girl had planned in advance to attack another, and arranged for a group of students to not only witness but also record the assault Thursday afternoon. Arizona Army National Guard troops identified in drone strike, Jordan

PHOENIX – The Arizona National Guard 1st Battalion, 158th Infantry Regiment, Bushmasters, were identified to be in the area during the January 28th unmanned aerial drone attack in northeast Jordan, near the Syria border. There have been no reported Arizona National Guard deaths. Landstuhl Regional Medical Center (LRMC) received three U.S. servicemembers who were injured in the drone attack.  One of the injured servicemembers is reported in critical condition, however, all three are reported to be stable.
