MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave Community College is hosting its annual Pumpkinfest event for the community! MCC’s Kingman, Lake Havasu and Bullhead campuses will have a lot of fun games, treats and candy. The event is free and for all ages. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

MEADVIEW – After a summer hiatus, the Community of Meadview (COM) met on Thursday, October 3. Meadview’s many groups and clubs, including the Chamber of Commerce, Friends of the Joshua Tree Forest, the Quail Club and the Meadview Historical Society reported on their activities.
LAKE HAVASU CITY – It was an especially moving evening for the military moms of Lake Havasu recently as the community honored the mothers of veterans who lost their children while serving this country.
The ceremony took place on Sunday, Sept. 29 at Wheeler Park. Gold Star Mothers Incorporated was created to keep the legacy alive of the fallen children who dedicated their time and service in the military.
The last day Sunday in September is when the mothers who have lost sons and daughters honor their children with a candlelight ceremony in remembrance of their bravery.
MOHAVE COUNTY – In accordance with Mohave County Ordinance No. 2013-04, Section V., the Mohave County Emergency Management Officer, Mike Browning has determined that “an emergency condition warranting an Outdoor Fire and Permissible Consumer Fireworks Prohibition currently does not exist in each and all Fire Zones in Mohave County.”
