This month, Havasu Regional Medical Center is celebrating the 20th anniversary of LifePoint Health, the health system of which it is a part, with a donation to the Lake Havasu City Fire Department. Quagga mussels have infested the southwestern United States after being first identified in Lake Mead in 2007. Since then the species has spread throughout the Colorado River, from Lake Powell to Imperial Dam. An investigation of suspected heroin sales from a residence in Lake Havasu City culminated in a seizure and arrest on Wednesday. Police Detective Chris Angus said officers effected a traffic stop after the target of the investigation, Jacob Olson, 21, drove from the suspect residence in the 2600 block of Tanglewood Place. Olson was taken into custody for five previous heroin sales. Angius said officers found Olson to be concealing more than 19 grams of heroin when he was being detained at the police jail facility. Kingman Regional Medical Center (KRMC) announced today that it is mailing letters to some patients whose information may have been involved in a recent incident involving the KRMC website. On April 8, 2019, KRMC was notified that there was a possible security problem with its public website. KRMC immediately shut down the website and began to investigate. A leading third party forensic firm was hired to assist in the investigation. The forensic firm determined that the configuration of the website made it possible for unauthorized person(s) to view some information entered into the website by KRMC customers. This incident does…
