A Fort Mohave man is going to the Arizona Department of Corrections for the sexually motivated attack upon a woman more than a year ago. Mohave County Superior Court Judge Derek Carlisle ordered a 6.5-year prison term Wednesday for Kenneth Cyril Smith, 52. Mohave County sheriff’s deputies responded in April 2018 to a 911 hang-up call originated from a home in the 1700 block of Hammer Lane in Fort Mohave. Storming his father’s home in violation of a Protective Order could result in prison time for a Bullhead City man. Kyle Moos, 21, pleaded guilty Wednesday, May 15, to aggravated harassment by domestic violence. Prosecutor Bob Moon said Moos knew he was prohibited from doing so when he visited his father’s residence on March 15. Moon said Moos knocked on the door and asked to be let inside. A Lake Havasu City man who provided detailed sex offense confessions involving a young girl has taken a double decade plea agreement rather than risking trial convictions that would guarantee him life behind bars. David Long, 44, pleaded guilty May 14 to charges involving his victimization of a seven year-old-girl early this year. Long is convicted of sexual conduct with a minor for an act involving oral sex committed on Jan. 22 at a Lake Havasu City residence. A Mohave County Superior Court judge added five more years in prison to the sentence of a Bullhead City man already scheduled to serve 25 years behind bars. Chase Salveson, 47, was recently sentenced following a change of plea hearing conducted in Kingman. Salveson was granted a unique furlough after he had pleaded guilty to drug and weapons offenses on March 7, 2018, following the search of his Mirada Drive apartment in Bullhead City the previous November. Authorities said they confiscated 27 grams of methamphetamine, 10 grams of heroin, 63 grams of marijuana, psychedelic mushrooms, pills and weapons. The plea…
