Kevin Gifford promoted to captain

Golden Valley Fire District Fire Chief David Cunningham administers the oath during the swearing-in ceremony to Kevin Gifford upon his promotion from engineer to captain at the recent GVFD board meeting. Captain Gifford began his employment with GVFD during September 2011 and was previously was a firefighter with Pinion Pines Fire District prior to being employed by GVFD. Christmas in July Show & Shine set

KINGMAN – Arizona Claus Cause will host their annual Christmas in July Car Show & Shine on Friday, July 19 in the Walmart parking lot. The event will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. with live music by The Terry Wayne Project. The event is open to the public and free to spectators. Car entry fee is $10 per vehicle.
