LAKE HAVASU CITY – The Arizona Department of Transportation advises motorists with travel plans on State Route 95 in Lake Havasu City his month to plan ahead and expect delays of up to 15 minutes for pavement-treatment work. LAKE HAVASU CITY – For years, scientific research has redefined long-held ideas about vortex energy centers and demystified them for visitors. In 2015, through a partnership with the Lake Havasu City Convention & Visitors Bureau, nine vortex energy sites were identified in and around Lake Havasu City. The National Park Service is seeking public comment on an environmental assessment to evaluate the impacts of improving the existing Willow Beach Road, which provides visitors with access from U.S. Highway 93 to the Willow Beach developed area within Lake Mead National Recreation Area. This EA evaluates two alternatives for managing Willow Beach Road, describes the environment that would be impacted by the alternatives and assesses the environmental consequences of implementing the alternatives.
