Annual Wag ‘n Wine slated for Oct. 19

BULLHEAD CITY – Tri-State Pain Institute and TSFC Insurance will be hosting a Wag ‘n Wine fundraiser to benefit SAINT. The event will be held Saturday, Oct. 19 beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the Realtor Conference Center, 841 Hancock Rd. Tickets are $30 per person and include a delicious meal catered by El Charro Mexican Restaurant and wine samples from around the world. There will be raffles, drawings, a new wine pull, and a Halloween costume contest. Proceeds benefit SAINT, which provides low cost spay/neuter, emergency medical, and adopting and foster programs for community pets. For ticket information call 928-905-0663.

$34,000 in meth seized

KINGMAN – Drugs and weapons were seized late Friday when Kingman police responded to a report that unconscious subjects were spotted inside a vehicle parked at a business in the 3400 block of Stockton Hill Road. David Joe Concepcion, 44, and Amber Rodriguez Copsey, 24, were taken into custody at about 11:00 p.m. “Copsey and Concepcion were found to be under the influence of drugs,” said deputy police chief Rusty Cooper. Animal shelter will be out adopting dogs this weekend

KINGMAN – The Mohave County Animal Shelter will be at First Friday this October 4 with Dogs for adoption. Large dogs one year and over and over 30 pounds are $50. Smaller dogs and dogs under one year are $125. Each dog is spayed or neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and comes with a free vet visit at adopter’s choice of any veterinarian in Kingman.
