KINGMAN – A near year-old Interstate 40 offramp shooting death in Kingman will be resolved in a plea agreement entered Tuesday, Jan. 7 at the Mohave County Courthouse. Bradley Stumpf, 32, pleaded guilty to second degree murder for the February 11, 2019 death of Jason McCafferty, 46. Prosecutor Karolina Czaplinska told Mohave County Superior Court Judge Derek Carlisle that McCafferty had taken Stumpf to Phoenix for a work assignment but that McCafferty decided to return to Kingman because Stumpf’s behavior had become erratic and strange. Teen sought in drive-by shooting

BULLHEAD CITY – A teenager is wanted for questioning for his alleged involvement in a January 3 drive-by shooting incident in Bullhead City. The suspect is identified as Zachary Brooks, 19. Spokeswoman Emily Fromelt said Bullhead City police officers responded after witnesses reported shots were fired from a grey Ford Mustang at an apartment in the 400 block of River Glen Drive. No one was inside the apartment and there were no injuries. The unoccupied suspect vehicle was located on Lee Avenue a short time after the gunfire.
