Lake Havasu City operations temporarily altered due to COVID-19 concerns

LAKE HAVASU CITY – In response to COVID-19 concerns, based on discussion with and guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the office of Governor Doug Ducey, Arizona Department of Health Services, and the Mohave County Public Health Department, Lake Havasu City is temporarily altering its operations.  ·       The Aquatic/Community Center is closed and remains closed until further notice.  This includes all fitness classes, lap swim, open swim, pickleball in the gym, and all events and meetings scheduled at the facility. Watson alone favored return, salary MOHAVE COUNTY – The hiring of Kingman Vice Mayor Travis Lingenfelter as Mohave County Procurement Director was torpedoed during Monday’s meeting of the Board of Supervisors. County Manager Mike Hendrix’ recommendation to start Lingenfelter April 6 at an annual salary of $102,000 was voted down 4-1. Citizens Academy postponed

KINGMAN – With the growing public health concern regarding COVID-19, the City of Kingman is following recommended guidelines from the Arizona Department of Health Services and the Center for Disease Control (CDC) by limiting public gatherings, and encouraging the public to practice social distancing.
