KRMC’s Manley named Preceptor of the Year

KINGMAN – On Monday, April 27, The American Academy of PAs (AAPA) honored local physician assistant (PA) Kurtis Manley with the Preceptor of the Year Award. A preceptor instructs PA students in the clinical evaluation and treatment of patients. The Preceptor of the Year Award honors preceptors who have demonstrated a commitment to excellence in the clinical education of PA students as a mentor and instructor. CRUHSD community forum cancelled

BULLHEAD CITY – Colorado River Union High School District (CRUHSD) Superintendent Todd Flora has cancelled his monthly community forum scheduled for Monday, May 4.  This second consecutive cancellation is due to COVID-19 State-mandated assembly restrictions, including the closure to the public of school district offices.  Flora expects to resume the forums upon guidance from Gov. Doug Ducey’s office, the Arizona Department of Health Services, and the Mohave County Department of Public Health.  In the interim, community stakeholders with questions or concerns may reach Flora at 928-758-3961, x-1003.

Call for Arguments for primary election ballot propositions; deadline is May 6

KINGMAN – Due to the City of Kingman remaining closed to the public until May 11, , individuals must call the City of Kingman Clerk’s Office at (928) 753-8102, to schedule an appointment in regard to submitting any arguments on any upcoming ballot propositions. The City of Kingman will have two separate propositions on the August 4, primary election ballot: Proposition 416, “A resolution proposing a permanent adjustment to the state-imposed expenditure base for the City of Kingman,” and Proposition 417, “An ordinance proposing a 4-year mayor term for the City of Kingman.” Individuals may file arguments for or against the proposed…
