MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) is made up of several different divisions and units, including administration, patrol, search and rescue, K9, volunteer posse, civil, detective, boating safety and detention. MOHAVE COUNTY – The Mohave County Department of Health (MCDPH)-Nursing was notified Monday afternoon, April 6, of a positive COVID-19 case in the Lake Havasu City service area. The individual, an adult in the 65+ age range, is currently hospitalized. MCDPH nurses will begin the contact investigation as soon as possible. It has yet to be determined if the patient contracted the disease as a result of travel, or if the case is epidemiologically-linked to another identified case. KRMC asks the public to not bring children to the ER unless they need care

KINGMAN – To limit the spread of COVID-19 in our community, KRMC has implemented strict visitor restrictions―including at the KRMC emergency room (ER). At this time, children under 12 who are not patients are restricted from entering the ER. Please do not bring children to the ER unless they need emergency medical care. Children who are not needing medical care cannot enter the facility. With visitor restrictions, KRMC has no way to accommodate unattended children while their parent or caregiver is receiving medical attention.

MOHAVE COUNTY – The Mohave County Department of Public Health (MCDPH) -Nursing was notified today Monday, April 6, of a positive COVID-19 case in the Lake Havasu City service area. The individual, an adult, is in isolation and recovering at their home. MCDPH nurses are currently in the process of the contact investigation. There are now 11 positive confirmed cases in the Lake Havasu City area, six in Kingman, and two in Bullhead City. One of the 19 passed away and became the first COVID-19-related death in the county. County virus management strategy

MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave County supervisors emerged from a near 90-minute executive session Monday before approving three coronavirus management motions offered by Buster Johnson, the Board’s senior member. Johnson’s first motion was quickly approved without discussion. Supervisors agreed that the Board, at least initially, will conduct three special meetings each week to address any COVID-19 pandemic matters necessary. The meetings will be conducted mostly by telephone while the public can view them during live streaming or in play-back mode on the county YouTube channel.
